Societies become most visible in times of hardship. A hand extended in a moment of crisis, a loaf of bread shared, a voice that is heard—these create the strongest bonds between people.
At this point, we believe that solidarity should be understood not merely as helping, but as growing stronger together.
Solidarity is an invisible network that holds society together. As people reach out to one another within this network, hope multiplies once again. We work to build this network knowing that trust, peace, and goodwill naturally take root in a society where no one is left alone.
Building Social Support Networks
Our association aims to create social support networks that touch the lives of disadvantaged individuals and families. Being there in times of need, offering material support, and showing presence are of great importance. With this understanding, and together with our volunteers, we focus on the following areas:
• Providing guidance to individuals experiencing temporary difficulties,
• Organizing educational materials, scholarships, and social support programs,
• Offering psychosocial support and crisis counseling in emergency situations
Every small act of support is a step toward helping someone stand on their feet again. In this context, we cooperate with local communities and institutions to make solidarity visible and sustainable.
Strengthening a Culture of Volunteering
Solidarity remains incomplete without volunteering. Our association defines volunteering not only as a form of “helping,” but also as an awareness of shared responsibility.
In our volunteer activities, we continuously seek to bring together people of different ages and cultures around a common purpose, enabling them to share their experiences, time, and energy.
A young volunteer supporting children in a workshop can learn a great deal from the experience of an older participant. A student can both contribute to a volunteer group and gain a new perspective through working together. Such interactions multiply the channels through which society nourishes itself.
The Link Between Social Solidarity and Integration
Integration is not only a cultural or educational process; it is also a practice of solidarity. The most natural expression of producing together and seeking solutions together is found in social support. For this reason, our association places solidarity at the center of all its projects.
A fundraising campaign, a scholarship program, a mentoring initiative, or a counseling service… All serve the same purpose: enabling people to notice one another, understand one another, and grow stronger through sharing.
We believe in the value of every effort aimed at removing the line between “those who help” and “those who receive help.”
Our Approach
When solidarity is practiced as a way of life rather than merely as a project, every act of help turns into an opportunity to build a connection, and these connections make the future of society more resilient.
If we can carry solidarity to the point of saying, “Your problem is my problem as well,” there will be no challenge we cannot overcome.
Yes, taking someone by the hand also means remembering one’s own humanity at the same time.
That is why we are here—to multiply this sense of humanity. The path to a strong society runs through solidarity, where people who trust one another stand shoulder to shoulder.
