The process of change and transformation that we define as globalization continues to make its impact felt in our lives at an increasingly rapid pace.

This process can, in fact, also be understood as a continuous process of integration and mutual adaptation. Encompassing understanding and being understood, sharing, and solidarity, this process is a dynamic journey that strengthens the culture of living together within societies.

In this context, integration concerns not only individuals with a migration background, but all segments of society. From young people to the elderly, from women to people with disabilities, from disadvantaged groups to individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds, everyone is a natural part of this process. Because every individual, regardless of their background, has the potential to add value to the society they live in. For this reason, initiatives that support integration are also essential tools for unlocking this potential.

As an individual with a migration background, I would like to particularly emphasize that the society I live in has supported me with an inclusive approach and encouraged me throughout the integration process. I consider it extremely important that this inclusive and participatory approach is sustained, and that individual efforts are also recognized as an inseparable part of this process.

At the same time, I believe that individuals and institutions that share their experience and expertise for the benefit of society should be supported within frameworks that unite rather than divide. Because genuine social cohesion is only possible through the acceptance of differences and by ensuring that everyone is valued in their own position.

With its human-centered approach, its work that encourages social participation, and its social initiatives, our association assumes an important responsibility at this point. I sincerely believe that through its voluntary and supportive activities, our association will bring new energy and perspective to existing efforts in this field.

Institutions and organizations that can accurately interpret the positive and negative effects of processes of change and consciously manage integration processes will remain strong, and in doing so, societies will achieve a more peaceful structure. With this conviction, I wish that our association-through its work based on universal human values and its support for a culture of living together-will contribute to social cohesion, peace, and prosperity.
